Thanks to the Prosowa in New York administration, in 2016 Fundepaz NY joined our foundation's efforts in La Guajira. Under the leadership of Father Fernando Echeverri and his board of directors in New York, Fundepaz invested in 7 eco-sustainable classrooms. The Prosowa Foundation's donors made possible the installation of a system of solar panels and photovoltaic energy for each of the classrooms and the school's dining room, which will provide educational opportunities for more than 210 children in Nazareth. Staff and head-of-family mothers may use these same classrooms for formal training with the support of the Comprehensive Action Department of the Caribbean Joint Army Command No. 1 under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel John Freddy Clavijo.
