This is what Totus Power is building. Our product, Jupiter 6 is a portable lithium ion battery pack made from electric car batteries. By reusing high performance batteries, and many of the state of the art electronics our product brings performance at a low cost. Originally developed to power low cost schools in developing countries, Jupiter6 can power any brand of laptop, tablet, projector, desktop or any portable electronic/disaster management device. It has a huge potential as a portable power pack for emergency crews. Additionally, Jupiter6 is designed like Legos with Snap-On modules for added capacity. Each block is 10 hours of power, and emergency teams can add or remove blocks on the fly. Making the product powerful or portable suiting to the situation. We also capture the value from ‘used’ electric car batteries before they are recycled. We can lower the cost of recycling and bring down the cost of electric cars. Congratulations on your socio-objective!!! I believe your product can be a solution not only to schools but also to other sectors whose growth has succumbed due to lack of access/shortage to power !! Hi Shiv! Is the Jupiter 6 able to power up different electronic devices? Or is it only designed to a specific type of laptops? I recommend you to focus your description towards the challenge of this competition. Good luck and all the best!
